Childbirth Education Series

Congratulations, you're having a baby!  Does this statement fill you with excitement?  Or does it possibly topple you with fear?  Either way - we have the right childbirth education class for you.

There's a lot to learn about having a baby.  The first thing you should learn is, you can do it.  

​

The Nest's Childbirth Education class is a six-week series that will prepare you to confidently walk into your birth and new parent experience.  Topics covered include:

  • How to handle pain in childbirth

  • Ways to increase probability of a safe and healthy birth

  • Positions for pushing out a baby

  • Medical interventions used during birth

  • Breastfeeding/Formula Feeding

  • How to care for a newborn

  • Ways to identify postpartum mood disorders

  • AND MORE

Liz Taylor, MBA

Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula

Liz Taylor is a birth Doula and childbirth educator, trained with DONA International and Lamaze International, who has been serving the community since 2018. Liz enjoys working with all types of families and scenarios. Her main passion is to connect and empower families so they can make informed choices through their childbirth experience and beyond. Leveraging her experience and connections within both the mental health community and health insurance industry, Liz can provide resources and make connections for families when needed.

Childbirth Education Class

The NEST Clinic

Fall Session: Tuesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm

October 11, 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15

​

Cost:

$350/series, which includes registration for the birthing person and one consistent partner.

**Space is limited to 6 registrants per session.**

Private Childbirth Education 

Private Childbirth Education classes provide all of the same elements of our group childbirth education PLUS the following:

​

  • Custom, individual-driven content to meet your specific needs

  • Ability to meet at dates/times that fit your schedule                   

  • Opportunity to consult with our childbirth educator/doula throughout pregnancy for free

​

Cost:

$450, which includes 10 hours of education for the birthing person and one consistent partner.

**Additional charge for time over 10 hours.**
