Licensed Psychologist
Lisa Hoffman-Konn (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked extensively with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, sleep concerns, and trauma. She appreciates the healing power of deep listening, empathic understanding, and collaboration.

Dr. Hoffman-Konn’s clinical training is primarily humanistic and cognitive-behavioral. She has specific training in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders (CBT-SUD), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).

Beyond the acronyms, Dr. Hoffman-Konn’s approach emphasizes curiosity, compassion, observation, and experimentation. She strives to learn each person’s story, identity, cultural context, values, needs, and strengths. Collaboration and creativity are key to creating an effective recovery plan. She works with clients to identify tools and strategies that work for them. And while recovery is serious business, she finds that incorporating a person’s sense of humor and a little irreverence also bring joy to the healing process.
