& Yoga/Meditation Teacher

Clinical Counselor

Sara Hart Schultz, MS, LPCC (she/they) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a yoga/meditation teacher. In their psychotherapy practice, Sara's passion lies in working with individuals and groups. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, and she has extensive experience in working with TGNB and LGBQ individuals. Sara likes to incorporate mindfulness, mind-body practices, and spirituality as she believes when integration of the whole being occurs (body-mind-spirit) change is likely to be longer lasting and more meaningful.

Sara's practice is generally person-centered, collaborative, and strengths-focused. She believes each individual is the expert of their life and the author of their story. They use an integrative approach and depending on the needs of the individual, will draw from narrative, motivational interviewing, existential, solution-focused, reality-based, feministic, CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused theories/interventions. They believe in the importance of building a solid therapeutic relationship that comes from a place of empathy, trust, understanding, and equality, free of judgment. She is there to guide you, coach you, empower you, and teach you skills/tools that you need to overcome challenges, hardships, stressors, and trauma.

In her free time, Sara enjoys practicing and teaching yoga/meditation. Sara is also an avid hiker, camper, reader, and flow artist. She likes to travel and attend concerts, and you can often find her laughing and having fun with her spouse, four step-children, and twin sister.
